Ride of Honor

Honoring the World War II Veterans in Person county, for their courage, their valor, and their sacrifices during this war era.

Trip Details

World War II Veterans, plus their guardian/caregiver, were  transported via Southern Motorcoach directly to Washington D.C..  They will visited the World War II Memorial that was built and dedicated in 2004 as a memorial , and to honor the men and women who fought in WWII.  We also visited Arlington Cemetery and other points of interest.

Provisions were made to accommodate the physically challenged. EMT/medical personnel were on each motorcoach.  There were rest stop every two hours.  Beverages and snacks were provided throughout the trip.  A box lunch was provided during lunchtime.

This was a great trip for our Veterans - we took extremely good care of them on their "Ride of Honor".
